We are having an extension built, when do we start planning?
We can do preliminary work from a set of architects plans After an initial discussion, we can draw up some draft ideas to get you on your way. Remember that your plumber and electrician are going to need some guidance, before we start work, so a set of plans early on, will help them.
We have just bought a new house, how soon can we start remodelling the kitchen?
Assuming the house has an old but servicable kitchen fitted, our best advise is to wait a while until you are settled in. By then you will have a better idea of how you want your kitchen to work for you. You will also find any advantages and disadvantages to the existing layout, that may not be immediately obvious on paper.
We just want to update our house, do we have to have a complete new kitchen?
No, not at all. If the carcasses are still good, we can re-door them, and replace the worktop to give a brand new, fresh look to your home.
We try to be as "green" as we can, and replacing good units for the sake of it, doesn't fit well with that ethic.
How much will it cost?
Sorry, that's one that can't be answered here! So much - in fact, everything, depends on product choices. Worktops in one kitchen have cost more than the complete job in another.
Is granite expensive?
Yes, and no. It is more expensive than a laminate top, as you would expect, but it will never need replacing. It brings a beauty of its' own into your home, and can be a talking point for years to come.
Will it be cheaper in the sale?
We don't have a sale. We have a set price structure that stays in place all year around, and prices are not altered by season or clients' means .Everyone has seen the adverts "free dishwasher", "50% off all cabinets" etc but, in the real world, nobody gives things away for nothing.
"There's no such thing as a free lunch" has been attributed to many people,but it certainly applies
